working girl – no more!

My work is over. Not surprisingly, i think i will miss my ‘work-friends’ (the other interns) and all the silly jokes we shared. They really were the only saving grace in that place. Even though it wasn’t terrible, it was still pretty boring, mundane and mind-numbing, in other words, like a real job. =.=

And even though i’ve complained about the other interns before, i think, now that it’s over, they’re not as bad as i described. I wouldn’t become best friends with any of them, but it’s true that shared suffering helps with bonding. We are ‘work-friends’ now.

The last week was really fun and funny, so i’m glad that we have millions of pictures to remember it.

One of them asked me: “So do you think you learned anything from the past 3 months of workng here?”.

I answered: ” Yes, actually i did! haha! – I learned how to deal with a client, and how to deal with a crazy/stupid person.” Ok, perhaps that was a little too harsh for my boss, but the truth is, he is exactly like the ‘client’ that we learn about at school. He’s indecisive, stubborn, doesn’t know what he wants, over estimates our abilities, expects us to deliver the moon in one week, etc, etc. So i learned how to say no to ridiculous requests.

Anyway, It’s a memorable internship, and i enjoyed it, now that it’s over. haha!
